The day in Coney island

I know about Coney island thanks to the pictures of Harold Feinstein photographer. Today I was there and I can not to leave thinking about the places that he show in his pictures; the beautiful beach, the bridge, the attraction park… that today are really similar than in the past. Harold Feinstein was born in Coney Island in 1931. He began his career in photography in 1946 at the age of 15 and within four short years.

I am trying to see how this beach can to have 1 milion of people there in the summer, it seems small. People come to here with the subway to enjoy the beach trying to put their umbrella.

The corn on the cob, if we see we can find then the place is really similar than in the fifties. But now the music than you can listen is Rocio Durcal.

Or another picture called Strange Encounters, and my friend and me without to know finally we are the protagonists of a strange encounter with a new American Superman. We have found a Superman flying in Coney island and finally we have had made friends.

The place seem that has not changed and the atmosphere of the some moments lived in some places seems that alive yet.
